Small town, tall buildings
Guttenberg is only four blocks wide, yet the 2020 Census found it the most densely populated municipality in the United States. Most people here live in apartments, and that shapes every move we plan.
On Boulevard East, the three octagonal Galaxy Towers rise over the cliff. Toward Bergenline Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard, the blocks fill with two-family homes, row houses and small apartment buildings.
Tower or smaller building?
In a tower
Ask management for its move rules early: the hours, the freight elevator and where the truck may stand. Most towers also want a Certificate of Insurance (COI). We issue it with your contract. If you ask, we send it straight to the building.
In a smaller building
Here the work happens on the stairs. Narrow flights and tight landings mean big pieces come apart. The crew takes down bed frames and tables, carries them out in parts and rebuilds them at the new home.
Parking and routes
Streets near Bergenline Avenue are busy and parked tight. Ask the town what you need to hold space by your door. The Lincoln Tunnel approach runs through North Bergen, next door. How pricing works: we charge by the hour. You get a free written estimate, and the hourly rate and terms are set down in writing before moving day. Your total follows the hours the crew works. Want to add items or services? We put that change in writing before we do it.
Moving next door

Yes. It comes with your contract. On request, we email it to management.
Can you move me out of a fourth-floor walk-up?
Yes. Tell us the floor and your largest pieces when you call, and we plan the crew for the stairs.
Can you come today?
Sometimes. Same-day moves depend on a crew being free, so call as early as you can.
