Show the home and its approach
Moonachie has residential neighborhoods and two mobile-home communities on Moonachie Avenue. All Edgewater Movers can pack and move your household belongings, with furniture disassembly and reassembly included when needed.
For a home within a community, give us the community entrance and your unit or lot number. Ask management where a moving truck may load, and show the steps and doorway into the home. Include outdoor furniture and stored boxes when showing us what will move.
Moonachie Road or Moonachie Avenue?
These are different roads. Moonachie Road is part of the north–south connection between Route 46 and the Turnpike area; Moonachie Avenue connects west toward Route 17. Write the full street name and share the entrance location to help us plan the approach.
For a move to neighboring Little Ferry, send the destination details too. For a move to NYC, add the receiving building’s permitted hours and access instructions.
Plan the truck’s route and loading time
Moonachie excludes trucks over four tons from designated residential streets, including Broad Street, except for local pickup and delivery. We need your address to check the appropriate approach.
Large commercial vehicles also face overnight street-parking restrictions from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The code allows active loading at an otherwise permitted spot directly in front of the premises. Confirm the particular loading arrangement; this is not permission to store a truck on the street.
