What a same-day move looks like
A same-day move suits a short clock: an early lease end, a closing, or a new elevator slot. The crew wraps furniture, disassembles what needs it, and follows your building’s rules.
What we need to know on the call
- Both addresses, with floor and apartment numbers.
- Stairs or elevator at each end, and how close the truck can park.
- Home size and big items like a piano.
- Building rules: hours, elevator booking, and COI.

Building rules on short notice
Building rules usually slow a last-minute move. Many buildings need a Certificate of Insurance (COI) and a reserved elevator. Call building management and ask if a move today works. We send the COI with the contract, and to the building on request, but the building decides how fast it approves. Our high-rise moving page explains the rest.
