Getting here from New York
From Midtown and lower Manhattan, a truck usually takes the Lincoln Tunnel and then drives north along the ridge. From upper Manhattan and the Bronx, the George Washington Bridge is usually closer. The upstairs unit and the crowded curb
Two-family homes mean a narrow staircase, a landing turn, and a front door that opens onto the stairs. Measure the width and your largest pieces first.
Bed frames, dressers with mirrors and sectionals usually come apart. We reassemble them at the new place.
Inland streets are parked on both sides. Ask neighbors to leave space in front of the house that morning, and ask the borough about reserving the curb.
