Give us the full town name
All Edgewater Movers serves Ridgefield Park’s single-family and two-family homes, as well as apartments. Include “Ridgefield Park” on your request: neighboring Ridgefield is a separate borough across Overpeck Creek.
For a two-family house, tell us whether the apartment has its own outside entrance or shares a hall. Mark furniture and boxes in shared storage before the crew starts loading.
Water and highways shape the approach
The Hackensack River borders the village to the west, with Overpeck Creek on its southern and eastern sides. A nearby address across the water still needs a bridge route. Show the loading entrance rather than relying only on the building’s mailing address.
I-80 meets I-95 in Ridgefield Park, and I-95 connects with Route 46 here. We choose the approach for the truck and destination; our NYC to New Jersey guide covers preparation for a cross-Hudson move.
Finish loading within the plan
The village prohibits outdoor overnight storage of commercial vehicles in residential zones. Arrange the move as a loading appointment, and check street-cleaning signs and parking requirements with the village before selecting the truck space.
- Send the unit number, floor and entrance instructions.
- Count outside steps as well as stairs inside the house.
- Confirm when both sets of keys will be available.
- Ask apartment management for its move hours and COI requirements.
We are licensed and insured. Your free written estimate can include packing and furniture assembly. Your final cost depends on how much you move, and the rate and terms come in writing beforehand; added work is confirmed in writing first. See our pricing explanation.
If your destination is Ridgefield, send its full address too so the two locations stay clear.
Ridgefield Park questions
Can you handle shared stairs?
Yes; show their width and turns, and arrange a clear path with the other household.
What if I have furniture in the attic?
Include it in the walkthrough so we can plan how each piece reaches the exit.
Can you provide the building’s COI?
We issue it with the contract and can send it directly to the building at your request.
