Which way depends on where in Brooklyn you start and where in Jersey City you end.

The Brooklyn end
A brownstone in Fort Greene, Park Slope or Bed-Stuy means a stoop, a parlor floor and a narrow staircase. A walk-up in Bushwick or Greenpoint means several flights and tight turns. A newer tower in Downtown Brooklyn or on the Williamsburg waterfront works like a Manhattan building: a COI, a booked elevator and a window. A house in south Brooklyn brings a basement, a garage and more furniture. Tell us which one you are leaving, and we plan the loading for it.
The Jersey City end
Downtown towers ask for a move-in approval, a COI with exact names, a freight elevator and a dock slot. We issue the COI and send it with your contract; you pass it to management, or we send it for you. The Heights and the blocks around Hamilton Park have brownstones and rowhouses much like the ones you are leaving. Why not always go through Manhattan?
From south Brooklyn, lower Manhattan traffic and the tunnel height limits can make the Staten Island route the better choice. From north Brooklyn, Manhattan is usually the shorter way. We decide for your date and your truck.
Can you move me this week?
