Across the river from the Upper West Side
Edgewater faces the Upper West Side from the New Jersey bank of the Hudson. People who make this move often keep the same river and the same skyline, seen from the other side. The town is a narrow strip between the water and the Palisades cliff, so almost every trip here ends on or just off River Road. Tunnel or bridge

Many pre-war buildings on the Upper West Side have a small service elevator, a basement service entrance and a super who needs to know the date. Newer Midtown towers work more like the riverfront building you are heading to: a dock, a booking system and a COI. A walk-up means stairs. It depends on the address. Many riverfront buildings have a dock or a loading area off the road. Where there is none, we agree on where the truck will stand before moving day, not on the day.
Which is quicker from the Upper West Side, the tunnel or the bridge?
From the northern blocks, usually the bridge. From the southern blocks and Midtown, usually the tunnel. We check traffic for your date and start time.
My Edgewater lease starts after my Manhattan lease ends. What can I do?
