Queens to the cliff, by way of the Bronx
From Queens, the usual way to Fort Lee skips Manhattan. The truck crosses the Bronx and takes the George Washington Bridge into Fort Lee. From western Queens, that’s the RFK Bridge; from northeast Queens, the Whitestone or Throgs Neck Bridge. At some hours, crossing Manhattan to the Lincoln Tunnel is quicker. No parkways for a moving truck
Queens drivers know Grand Central and the Cross Island Parkway. Parkways are closed to trucks, so we drive expressways. That can take longer, and we plan the start time around it.
Selling one co-op, buying another
Forest Hills, Rego Park, Jackson Heights and Bayside have many co-ops, and so does the Fort Lee cliff. If you sell in one and buy in the other, each side has its own paperwork:
